Christina grew up in Florida. She studied nursing at Franciscan University of Steubenville. After graduation, she worked as a counselor at the Women’s Care Center in Indianapolis, where she met our Sisters upon the suggestion of her pastor. Christina entered our community in September 2024.
Sr. M. Deogratias met our sisters while studying at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. She grew up in Warsaw, IN. After graduating from USF, she worked there as an admissions counselor. She entered our community in September 2023.
Sister Mary Francis met our Sisters in grade school. She attended our discernment retreats and entered after graduating from Marian University with a degree in primary education. She is from Carmel, IN. Sister Mary Francis teaches first grade at St. Matthew Cathedral School in South Bend, IN.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sr. Solana met our Sisters while studying at the University of Cincinnati and entered in 2021. She professed her first vows in 2024 and has been assigned to serve as Assistant Director of Mission at Franciscan Health Munster and Dyer, seeking to deepen the Catholic identity and mission immersion among coworkers and patients within the hospitals.
Sr. Josetta Rose hails from Rochester, Minnesota, and met our Sisters while serving as a FOCUS Missionary at Ball State University. She entered in 2020 and professed her first vows in 2023. Sr. Josetta Rose served on the vocations team following her first vows and currently serves as Director of Mission in our healthcare system at Franciscan Health Munster and Dyer, where she brings her experience as a missionary to her coworkers and patients.
A Fort Wayne native, Sr. Emmanuel met our Sisters while studying nursing at the University of St. Francis and entered in 2019. She professed her first vows in 2022 and has been assigned to various roles within our healthcare system, including working as a nurse in the Emergency Department. Sr. Emmanuel currently serves at Franciscan Health Michigan City as the Director of Mission, seeking to bring our Catholic identity to every part of the hospital.
